Hello Deviants and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Hey everyone! I know I haven't been active here for a while now....sad to say I haven't been active in art for a while actually. I suppose I just hit a rough moment in life and it caused me to shut down, but I'm back and on the road to returning to art and everything else I turned away from.

So now I'm here, to say I'm still alive and on a road to art recovery haha But who else is here? I've really been wanting to connect with people in the art world and I want to get to know the people who stop by my DA or take a moment to read these journals. So if you have an extra minute, please leave a comment. It can be a hi or tell me a story or anything you'd like. I just want to meet you and get to say hi back

I'll return to my sketchbook and my tablet and I'll hopefully have plenty to post here soon. As I return to my art I hope to connect with some of you out here on DA :]

As some of you know I was planning to launch two online stores to sell my artwork and other things, but now I'm running into some problems... i.e. myself hah. I'm having a lot of problems with second guessing my plans. I've been super independent with almost everything, wanting to set this all up on my own, but now I'm realizing that might have been a bad idea. Now I'm reaching out for help and having trouble finding it.

Again, going with my independent feelings, I want to do my selling and shop creation on my own now rather than using a website and only making partial money on something.

But I don't feel like I know enough to set up my own personal shop and I don't know if it'll be more beneficial or more harmful.

I'm just asking for opinions, whether from experience or not. I just need some help because I'm not sure what to do.

I've finally done something about the fact that I wanted to sell my artwork and my photography! I have two shops right now through Cafe Press companies. "Small b | i t e 's" will be selling miscellaneous products through cafepress.com, while "b | i t e Gallery" will be selling prints through imagekind.com.

I've returned to Fresno after an AMAZING four days at Comic Con! Definitely sensory overload for aspiring artists. I was going insane. Costumes were fun, taking pics with everyone was a blast, and meeting some very big art heroes of mine made the trip so unbelievably awesome! I'm such a nerd...I came home and I'm already plotting things out for next year. Cosplaying is definitely a big fun part of the con. Thank you to my friends who talked me into getting all dressed up

Here's the site for our group by the way...working on getting some recognition for the amazing costumes that were pieced together. Cody and Steph definitely put a lot of effort into making everything look so real! Thank you guys!
